Silica Sand

Silica sand is a naturally occurring, industrially mined mineral. It has a large number of applications in industries such as construction and manufacturing. In concrete, silica sand helps the concrete hold water and provides strength through its tough surface, while polymers offer protection from cracks. In pottery it can be mixed with clay to make good quality porcelain ware.
