Feldspar

Feldspar is used as a pigment in plastics and paints, as a filler or stabilizer in rubber, as a catalyst for chemical reactions such as those occurring during the manufacture of aluminum from bauxite ore. In addition to these important roles, it can also be helpful for cleaning teeth and preventing tooth decay via dental procedures, because of its abrasiveness.
